Hi, I’m Ms. Amber, and if you’re an early childhood educator, home daycare provider, center director, or homeschool parent—you’ve just found your people.

With nearly 30 years in early childhood education and 25 years of owning, directing, and growing Loving Start Learning Centers, I’ve seen it all—from sticky fingers and circle time giggles to the exhaustion of late-night planning and the stress of figuring it all out alone.

I created the Rise & Thrive Childcare Academy because I know what it feels like to want more support, more clarity, and more time back in your day. This on-demand training platform was made to give you the tools, coaching, and encouragement you need to grow your program with confidence—and do it on your own schedule. Whether you’re onboarding staff or just need a little boost to reignite your spark, Rise & Thrive is here to help you do it all with purpose and heart. But I didn’t stop there.

As a mom of four and a forever-teacher at heart, I also knew educators and homeschool parents needed something more practical—something that would save them hours of prep time and cut the overwhelm.

That’s where Curated Classroom was born.

About the Author:

Amber Jayne is an expert in early childhood education. She began teaching preschool in the two-year-old class when she was just nineteen years old. At twenty-three, she decided to pursue her dream of opening her own preschool.  In October 2001, she opened Smart Start Preschool, now Loving Start Learning Centers. She wanted a preschool designed for her own son and future kids, where learning and fun go hand in hand. She operated her schools all while balancing her home life with four beautiful kids. Amber opened her first school in her home and ran it successfully for nine years before venturing out into the larger center. For over twenty-five years and counting, Amber has remained passionate and dedicated to the early childhood field.  She is currently taking her own brand nationwide and teaching others how to open their own schools. Amber is also the host of the ABC’s of Preschool podcast, on all things early learning and parenting. When she is not busy with the business, Amber spends time with her husband, the love of her life, and her kids or is on a plane traveling the world, as one of her passions is learning new cultures.
